How to Schedule Posts on Your Facebook Page without Third-Party Apps

Gone are the days when you had to wait for the ideal time to manually post your content on Facebook. No, I will not be talking about third-party apps that let you schedule a post. Third-party apps have served content creators for years, but they don’t need it anymore. With the latest update of Facebook, it has introduced a feature that makes your content plan easier. Without the help of any third-party apps or software, posts can now be scheduled directly through the Facebook app or Facebook web. Let us learn How to Schedule Posts on Your Facebook Page.

Step 1: Find the ‘Publishing Tools’ option

On the left-hand side of your Facebook Page, you will find a menu. In the menu look for the Publishing Tools tab and click on it.  If this is not your first time using these tools directly go for step 2.If this is your first time using this tool, you’ll be rejoiced to be directed to a hub with ample tools for helping your Facebook page. You can explore the various professional’s tools provided to you by Facebook to assist you in building your audience.

Step 2: Choose Create Post

Under the publishing tools, you will come to find a lot of options related to posts. Stick to the default window of Published posts and click on the blue tab saying ‘Create Post’. After which you can make all the necessary scheduling changes to your posts. If your Marketing Strategy involves using videos, you can instead go for Creative Studio’s upload.

Step 3: Actually Create You Facebook Page Post

This is the most overlooked step in the entire process. Merely, selecting a graphic and copy-pasting a text to go with it isn’t enough on Facebook. The social media giant lets you do a lot more to a post and you must take advantage of that. Don’t shy away from using the features of adding a location, feeling, call to action or anything you feel appropriate. You can also select posts on Instagram option, to double your visibility. Saying that, don’t worry too much about details, after all, you can always come back and edit.

Step 4:  Schedule the Facebook Post

Now, let’s come to the real answer to How to Schedule Posts on Your Facebook Page. After you are done creating a post for your page, find the Publish tab at the right bottom. Instead of pressing the publish button, which will make your content public right away, click on the arrow beside it. When you click on the Arrow beside the Publish option, you will find the Schedule Post option. Click on it and a new window will pop up. Here, you can select the date and time for your post. It is always a good idea to do some research to find the exact time that will be the most preferable for you.

Step 5: Press the Schedule Button

After you have selected the date and the time correctly for your post, all you have to do is press a button. Press the Schedule Button and your post will be scheduled and will be visible in the Scheduled section of Publishing Tools. You can find the post there and make any changes that you might want to make later. You can not only edit the content of the post but also make changes in the scheduling.
