Does this question pop in your head when you think of setting up multiple screens on MAC? If so, the next few lines will answer this question quite satisfactorily for you.
If you have a lot of applications running at the same time, you must have at least two monitors attached to your MAC. You can set different colourful display images in each one of them. But do you know how to put various wallpapers on multiple monitors attached to your MAC?
Step 1- Click on the logo of Apple, which is in the top left corner of your MAC. A drop-down list will come to you. Select the option of “System Preferences…” from that list.
Step 2- A click on the System Preferences will open to you a box full of icons. Select the “Screen Saver & Desktop” icon from them
Step-3-I hope your Mac is attached to all the monitors. A window will appear in every monitor. The first desktop Screen Saver window will open in your primary monitor, and then a secondary window will open in other monitors.
Step 4- Now, the window will display thumbnail images to you. There is a plus option in the left bottom corner of the window. This allows you to choose the folder which contains all the images for your display to show.
Step 5- Now click on the thumbnail for your favourite image to choose it for primary display. For the rest of the monitors repeat the step only. Select unique wallpapers for all your monitors.
Step 6- If your chosen images don’t obey the proportion of your particular monitor, you can always adjust the images at any time. It is really a piece of cake.
You just have to click on the drop-down menu beside the thumbnail of the image and then choose from the available options. You can go for anyone of them depending on your requirements.
Step 7– Even you can change the resolution settings of these images in different monitors. Like earlier, you have to open the system preferences box, and this time you must go to the “Display” icon. On all of your monitors, a little display window will open. You can see all the resolution options here. Choose.
Although, by default, MAC chooses the best of the resolution options for your display.
Do you know you can also change the dimension of your selected image to fit it in your monitor as wallpaper? You can even make your multiple monitor displays look like one cohesive unit.
Step 8- If you are done with image selection, drag your cursor to the primary display monitor and close the System Preferences box.
Boom! You have now different beautiful new wallpapers in different monitors in MAC. You don’t have to see the same boring wallpaper in every monitor anymore. What are you waiting for? Set up all your monitors.
